There are many different types of fencing that you can choose from. Aluminium Fencing:

However, aluminium is not as strong as most people may assume, thus making this type of fencing not the most suitable if you are looking to fence for security purposes.

Wood Fencing:
Wooden fencing is one of the most popular fencing materials used. Wooden fencing offers a wide array of fencing options. The most common thought that comes to mind when thinking of a wooden fence is the picturesque white picket fence desired by many. However, wooden fences, especially picket fences, do not offer much security for the property. If your goal is to secure a premisses, you might want to look at other options. Wooden fences do however offer you different heigh options, but the higher the fence, the more expensive the fencing process gets.

PVC Fencing:
PVC fencing is by far the most affordable option. PVC fencing is also extremely durable and does not wear easily. It is again not the best option in terms of security, but it can give you a similar look as that of a wooden fence for a fraction of the price. If affordable aesthetics are what you are looking for, PVC fencing could be the best solution for you.

Wrought Iron Fencing:
Wrought iron fencing can be decorative and is a strong material option for fencing. This might not be the most cost-effective option as the upkeep on this fencing type is quite arduous. The iron needs to be treated every two to three years in order to keep up its appearance. If money is not an issue, and having a decorative fence is what you want, this is the fencing option for you.

is the most popular fencing solution. Palisade fencing is made from strong steel pales which are secured to a horizontal rail to form a panel which is then mounted onto supporting posts. Palisade fencing is used for perimeter fencing and provides great security for any premises. With crime rates in South Africa at a constant high, this fencing solution is highly recommended. Palisade fencing does not require much maintenance and is very durable.
